About

C N Joinery and Construction has gone from strength to strength in the past decade with a reputation as exceptional as the projects within its portfolio.

Owner, Colin Nelson, started the business at the tender age of 18 after he tried to buy his first property but couldn’t find a lender who would offer him a mortgage. When a bank agreed to a loan for a plot of land instead, Colin grabbed the opportunity with both hands. He bought the site, designed and built his first property in Seaforde, County Down which was a sign of bright beginnings for him and his company.

In 2000, with experience from working for his father’s joinery firm, Colin established C N Joinery and Building Services and specialised in joinery work within the private and housing sector of the industry. The County Down company worked alongside esteemed house-building firm, Farrans Homes on numerous projects as well as designing and building one-off properties for sale. The company experienced rapid growth incorporating the commercial construction market with projects on larger construction developments in both the public and private sectors.

As such, Colin began to employ other companies in a variety of different trades within the industry, on a subcontract basis. C N Joinery and Building Services have since become one of the most reputable and sought after construction companies in Northern Ireland and the UK, working alongside he by prestigious building and civil engineering contractors such as Farrans (Construction) Limited. The exceptional high quality workmanship and attention to detail have resulted in C N Joinery and Buildings Services managing vast projects with excessive budgets. However, the company has remained close to its roots, and the team work on projects of smaller scales including renovations and distinguished structures, such is their diversity.
